MY SWIM COACHING
From your first stroke to your next open-water adventure — we help adults build confidence, master technique, and fall in love with swimming, at every stage.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, refining your strokes, or training for open water, our coaches are with you every step of the way.
Our Story
MySwim Coaching was built around one simple belief — swimming should be enjoyable, accessible and empowering for every adult, no matter where they’re starting from.
What began as a passion for helping adults learn to swim has grown, over more than a decade, into a supportive community of beginners, recreational swimmers, open-water enthusiasts and experienced athletes.
Through structured coaching, practical guidance and a judgment-free environment, we help every swimmer progress at their own pace while building the confidence to go further.
EVERY EXPERT STARTED SOMEWHERE.
From Your First Splash to Your Finish Line • Six Stages • One Pathway.
Become An
Open Water Specialist.
Imagine swimming beyond the shoreline with confidence. No lane ropes. No walls. Just you, the water and the freedom to explore further.
But confidence in open water is not built in one step. It is the result of a clear progression.
Clinic
& Race.
This is where everything comes together. You swim with confidence, navigate your course, manage your pace and stay composed when conditions change.
But before you can perform confidently in a clinic or race, you first need to understand how to handle open water itself.
Master
Open Water Skills.
Open water has no lane ropes, no walls and no fixed conditions. Learn to sight, navigate, breathe, respond to waves and stay calm in changing environments.
These skills help you become confident and self-reliant, but they work best when your swimming is already efficient.
Build
Pool Performance.
By now, you have enough mileage for your stroke to become more stable and repeatable.
A consistent stroke makes faults visible — and fixable. This is where we refine your efficiency before you take that technique into open water.
Build Your
Pool Base.
Before refining your stroke, you need enough swimming mileage for your movement to become consistent.
Your breathing, rhythm and body position begin to settle. This creates the stable foundation needed for meaningful stroke correction later.
Build Your
Endurance.
After learning to swim, new swimmers need time in the water. The first goal is not perfect technique — it is the ability to keep swimming continuously.
Build mileage and water confidence first. This stage builds the engine everything else runs on — technique comes next.
Learn
To Swim.
Before endurance, performance, open water skills or racing, there is one simple starting point: becoming comfortable in the water.
Start your journey with our Learn to Swim programmes — Swim Foundation or Freestyler Starter, depending on where you're starting from

There is no single way to become a better swimmer.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into the water, refining your technique or training with a squad, our programmes — Learn to Swim, Stroke Correction and Swim Squad — are designed to support you at every stage of your swimming journey.

I used to feel nervous swimming in open water. The coaching and training gave me the skills and confidence to enjoy the experience instead of worrying about it.
